James’s enthusiasm for motorhomes, campervans and caravans is what initially started us in this industry. He did some work experience at Maple Garage years ago and then started full time employment here after leaving college. Being an avid user of motorhomes himself, along with his wife and two children, James is more than happy to share his experiences of camping trips and road trips with you.
In his spare time James tinkers with his rally car or can be found out and about in a motorhome. “My favourite van is the Wildax Solaris XL, which ticks most of the boxes for my needs. It’s great to drive, easy to park and it comfortably fits all four of us in. There’s nothing better than sitting outside under the canopy, BBQ sizzling away and watching the sun set. My ‘go to’ place is Scotland. I love it up there, and over the years we’ve visited pretty much all areas of it, and we keep finding amazing places each time.”
Josh joined Maple Leisure in 2012 at just 17, starting as a trainee sales administrator. Within three years, he progressed to full-time sales executive, and over the past 13 years has built a wealth of experience, giving him the expertise to deliver a customer experience that’s second to none.
After observing the motorhome market closely for five years and building extensive product knowledge, Josh made the move from car sales to motorhomes in April 2023. More than just a sales executive, Josh plays a key role across the business – managing Maple’s social media channels, website content, photography, and videography, and supporting everything from marketing campaigns to customer communications. His hands-on approach means he’s involved in almost every part of the customer journey, helping ensure every visit to Maple Leisure is seamless.
Outside of work, Josh is a fitness enthusiast and a keen traveller, often racking up air miles to visit his favourite destinations in the US. His energy, versatility, and passion for customer service make him a driving force behind the Maple Leisure team.
Malcolm first came to Maple Leisure as a customer and quickly expressed his interest in joining the team should the opportunity arise. Now working part-time, he provides valuable support across the business, stepping in wherever needed. Whether it’s assisting the workshop manager, supporting the sales team, or helping front of house, Malcolm is always ready to lend a hand.
Stefan has worked for the business for over 7 years, he started off as a valeter, but his attention to detail and initiative allowed him to transition into becoming a full-time technician.
In his spare time Stefan likes to spend time with his family, and he drives to Romania every summer to visit friends and family.
Denis brings a wealth of experience from his long career in the static caravan industry and now leads our Aftersales Department here at Maple Leisure. His role covers everything from handling customer enquiries and organising our technicians to fault-finding and preparing motorhomes for handover. Whether he’s on the tools in the workshop or behind the laptop coordinating the team, Denis ensures everything runs smoothly and our customers receive the best aftersales care.
Baron has been driving up and down the country collecting vehicles for us for over 3 years. When you visit us, you may or may not see him as he is usually on the road or washing his trucks.
In his spare time, he enjoys going fishing with his friends or exploring the countryside on his Kawasaki ZX9 motorbike.
