Malibu campervans tend to be built on a Fiat Ducato base as standard, which means they are efficient and handle well. It offers a low, wide frame for better interior space, smooth driving dynamics and advanced driver assistance systems, and is ideal for long-distance, all-season campervan travel. The Genius range, meanwhile, is built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, meaning a lot of vehicle but good handling and manoeuvrability.
The Malibu Genius features a ‘Supermax’ bathroom, which has been designed to offer luxury in a compact space. It includes a swivel toilet, integrated basin and articulated shower door that can extend into the central aisle, creating a spacious shower area as and when required. This design offers the functionality of a full motorhome bathroom within the footprint of a campervan.
Malibu campervans are engineered for all-season travel due to high-performance insulation, heated water tanks and optional diesel or ALDE heating systems. The GRP sandwich construction, insulated windows and warm-air distribution throughout the cabin (including the double floor) help to retain heat during the winter and block excess warmth in the summer.
