Wildax campervans – Aurora range

The Aurora range by WildAx features four thoughtfully designed models, including two standard length (5.99 m) and two XL (6.36 m) versions. Each is available in either the Aurora fixed‑bed layout or the Aurora Leisure rear‑lounge configuration. The fixed-bed models include a fold-up double bed over a large rear garage, while the Leisure variants provide rear seating which converts into a double bed. Kitchen and washroom areas in Aurora models are highly practical, designed for maximum functionality in a relatively compact space.

Each Aurora model is are built on the reliable and economical Fiat Ducato 140 BHP chassis, with a manual gearbox as standard and an 8-speed automatic option. Driving comfort is further supported by swivel seats, fitted carpets and a spacious front lounge. Standard features include Truma Combi D4 diesel/electric heating, insulated water tanks, 100 Ah lithium battery, LED lighting, cab air-con, cruise control, a reversing camera and a 160 W solar panel. With three belted seats and sleeping for up to three, WildAx Aurora campervans balance compact size with all-season comfort.

Do Aurora WildAx campervans include heating systems?

Yes, they do. All WildAx Aurora models include the Truma Combi D4 diesel / electric system, which provides powerful and efficient space heating and hot water. Ideal for year-round touring, it can run on either on diesel fuel from the main vehicle tank or 230 V electric hookup. Combined with the Aurora’s high-quality insulation and winterised water tanks, you’re ready to go whatever the season.

How is the Aurora range’s rear sleeping / storage area configured?

In the fixed-bed layout version of the Aurora, the rear features a folding double bed mounted above a spacious garage. This bed can be lifted to access a large storage area, perfect for stashing outdoor equipment, camping furniture or even bicycles. In the Aurora Leisure variant, the rear includes two full-length sofas that can easily transform into a double bed using a solid sliding mechanism. Under-sofa compartments provide additional storage.

What power and battery systems are installed?

Aurora campervans include a 100Ah lithium leisure battery as standard, offering reliable off-grid power, paired with a 160W solar panel for extended off-grid capability. The electrical system also includes a 230V mains hook-up, USB charging points and multiple 12V outlets. Energy-efficient LED lighting helps preserve battery life. The WildAx Volt Pack is available for those who need increased capacity.
